Laura Dimeling and Zachary Goldman are artists living in San Diego. They have been friends since 2015. They are the founders of this secret art cult, the Bad Rabbit Société.
In addition to making physical art, they also create interactive experiences. These have been performances, themed art parties and community events.
Bad Rabbit Société is their biggest project yet. It is a collective of creatives who attend an annual campout, where themes of Bunnies, Easter, and Psychedelic Spirituality abound. The intention behind this project was to create a space for togetherness, sharing gifts, and celebrating their own unique brand of weirdness. Basically an excuse to make more art and friends!
Much of the inspiration for this event comes from Burning Man culture, with the ethos of radical self expression, gifting, communal effort and participation. However, in an attempt to keep the spirit of the event intentional and to ensure a safe community, it is an invite-only experience, where all participants have been vetted.
